PFA Coated Couplings

For the handling of aggressive fluids often stainless steel couplings do not have a sufficient chemical resistance.

Therefore, Elaflex offers a coating of Teflon^® PFA with universal resistance. This coating serve to inclease resistance to permeation, enabling a low layer thickness of appoximately 0,3 mm and thus to use standardised fittings for the coating.

PFA is not electrically conductive. However, as only the parts in contact with the medium are coated, electrical continuity of the hose assembly is ensured.
